I looked at overall referrals to get a better picture of how search engines play in the overall numbers, and I&#039;m right around 59% of traffic originating from search engines.

My hunch + the data I have shows that loyal readers are most likely reading this blog in RSS and clicking over once in a while.]]></description>

The Google percentage is pretty interesting, but I have to say that it&#039;s not terribly surprising.

I get a bit over 90% of my total traffic from search engines (I guess I don&#039;t talk about anything interesting enough for people to keep up on a regular basis or something, but they come by eventually).

Looking at total traffic, Google accounted for more than 75% of the referrals during 2007.  Ask was actually next at just over 4% of total traffic, while Yahoo was only a fraction of a percentage point behind, while MSN was around 2%.  Not quite as high as yours, but still a pretty large lead over the others... :)]]></description>
